Project Overview: Re-design the company’s website to make it easy to use and present its services more clearly to its clients. The Extra card program was the main feature that I wanted to brand. The main expectation was that upon receiving the Extra card, consumers, would visit the website to browse or search for additional Extras in their vicinity. I designed the website based on this premise and minimized other previously featured sets to simplify this process. Part of the success of the Extra card program was tied to the quality of brands associated with it. This association to brands was continued online, where I placed the premiere brands in strategic locations and in search results. The simplified design, focused and repositioned the company to effectively compete with yellow page publishers. From the “user” point of view, it made finding and using Extras a cinch.
